To celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 21st anniversary of the successful UNESCO World Heritage nomination of Macau’s Historic Centre, the 37th “June 1” Children’s Painting Exhibition & Drawing Competition was successfully concluded. It was jointly organized by the Federation of Women of Macau and the Macau Art Association, with the theme “Children Paint the China Dream, Building a Strong Sense of National Identity.”
The competition encouraged children to express their patriotism and love for Macau through their paintings. Through their artwork, they showed the lively and prosperous side of Macau under the “One Country, Two Systems” framework, as well as the charm of cultural integration between Chinese and Western traditions.
Students from Premier School Affiliated to Hou Kong Middle School participated actively. With the careful guidance of their teachers, they focused on creating their artworks. They used colors to draw beautiful visions and used lines to share a child’s sincerity and passion. Their paintings fully reflected their love for their motherland and for Macau, demonstrating the artistic skills and positive spirit of the HKP students.
After careful judging by a professional panel, they won multiple awards with solid drawing skills and creative ideas. The awardees are as follows:
