Hou Kong Premier School Hosts Teaching Symposium for the 93rd Anniversary of Hou Kong Middle School

To celebrate the 93rd anniversary of Hou Kong Middle School and enhance teachers' professional development through AI-integrated education, Hou Kong Premier School (HKP) organized a two-day teaching symposium on May 29-30. The event featured demonstration classes, expert evaluations, and thematic lectures, creating a dynamic platform for pedagogical innovation and excellence.

The opening ceremony welcomed notable guests, including Professor Liu Hui from Capital Normal University, Associate Professors Zeng Xishan and Zhan Yong from South China Normal University, Vice Principal Niu Lanzhen from Hou Kong Middle School, and delegates from Hangzhou Qian Xuesen School, Shunde Longjiang Foreign Language School, and various Macao partner schools.

During the opening ceremony, Vice Principal Niu highlighted the school’s commitment to fostering patriotic values while building high-quality smart education platforms. Moreover, she expressed gratitude to sister schools across mainland China and Macao for their collaboration in this mission.

Principals from prestigious institutions, including Shanghai Yan'an Middle School, Wuxi City Jiangnan Middle School, WenZhou Experimental Middle School and Longjiang Foreign Language School delivered online addresses endorsing the symposium's forward-looking agenda.

The symposium encompassed seven disciplines, including AI, mathematics, physics and geography, Chinese, English, Portuguese and history, engaging educators in meaningful discussions about developing students’ technological literacy and transdisciplinary problem-solving skills.
