Simple Words, Deep Gratitude: A Heartwarming Children’s Day Letter-Writing Event at HKP

During the recent International Children's Day, the Primary School Chinese Language Department of Premier School Affiliated to Hou Kong Middle School once again organized its annual thanksgiving letter-writing event. Every primary student in the school took part. Using their pens to express their feelings, the children sent unique festival blessings and sincere thanks to the campus staff who accompany them every day. This event added a warm and meaningful touch to the colorful Children's Day celebrations.

This letter-writing event has been held for many years. It has always used writing to spread love, encouraging students to respect and thank the kind guardians from all walks of life. This year, the event focused on the dedicated guardians right here on campus. Students were encouraged to write letters to express their respect for school administrators, teachers, office staff, and support workers who quietly do their best in different positions.

During the event, students carefully wrote down their words, recalling warm moments on campus and expressing their deep gratitude. Chinese language teachers from each class carefully selected the best letters and organized the students to deliver their handwritten notes in person. These simple and sincere letters carried the children's pure hearts. The administrators, teachers, and logistical workers who received the blessings were both surprised and deeply moved. The entire campus was filled with a very warm atmosphere.

To amplify the power of gratitude and showcase the students' talents, the school selected the finest letters and displayed them on special boards in the covered playground and hallways. Passing teachers and students stopped to read and appreciate the pieces, feeling the pure hearts and sincere thanks in every line. This event not only helped students practice their writing skills but also taught them the valuable qualities of gratitude and respect, filling the entire campus with warmth and kindness.
