— Students and Teachers from Primary School Affiliated to Shijiazhuang Private No. 1 Middle School Visit Premier School Affiliated to Hou Kong Middle School
To strengthen exchanges with sister schools in Mainland China and to promote mutual learning in educational ideas, on May 14, 2026, our school warmly received a visiting study tour group from Primary School Affiliated to Shijiazhuang Private No. 1 Middle School. Teachers and students from both places came together to talk about education and build friendship.
That morning, the visitors were welcomed and guided on a campus tour by HKP’s Student Union Primary students who acted as small tour guides. The visit began with the school’s theme wall. The tour guides explained the school’s mission—“Caring for Hou Kong, Standing in Macau, Loving the Motherland, and Looking Toward the World.” They also shared the meaning of the school motto and the ideas behind traditional culture education, helping visitors understand the school’s educational purpose. After that, everyone took a group photo in front of the bronze statue of Former Principal Du Lan, capturing a meaningful moment.
Next, the visitors visited the HKP Library. A clean reading environment and a rich collection of books showed how much the school values reading education. They then went to Wenxi Pavilion, where the tour guides introduced the background of the valuable books gifted by President Xi Jinping, explaining the original intention behind the pavilion—continuing Chinese culture and strengthening students’ patriotism. This left visitors with a deep impression of the school’s cultural atmosphere.
After the campus tour, the school also invited the Shijiazhuang students to join classes at our school. They experienced some of the school’s featured courses in an immersive way and learned together with our students, leading to deeper sharing.
This visit built a bridge for communication between the two places in education. It helped both sides understand each other better and shared cultural and educational experience. In the future, our school will continue to organize more diverse inter-school exchanges, promoting development through communication and progress through mutual learning.
