— P2 Students Celebrate Gratitude and Growth
Premier School Affiliated to Hou Kong Middle School held a special activity for P2 students called “Hou Kong’s Warmth, Gratitude in Little Hearts.” The goal was to help students learn gratitude and carry forward good traditional values.
Principal Yao, Vice Principal Niu, invited guests from the Parent Association, teachers, students, and students’ parents all joined the event for a warm and memorable day.
The program started with a short video about the school and student experiences. Vice Principal Niu then spoke to the students, encouraging them to be grateful and grow happily, and to show kindness to people around them.
After that, there were many wonderful performances:
A choral recitation, “Let Love Pass On,”
A lively dance, “Happy Little Horses,”
Music and heartfelt gratitude messages, including “You Are My Sunshine,”
A short drama, “Gratitude News Report,”
And the whole grade singing, “Mom and Dad, Thank You,” where students thanked their parents.
There were also activities where students worked with their parents:
Students prepared handmade flower gifts,
They drew their parents after observing carefully,
Finally, parents and children placed gratitude poems and love notes onto a class gratitude tree.
This event helped students learn how to say thanks, share love, and bring families and the school closer together. The school will continue holding character education activities and guide students to embrace life with gratitude, growing well and happily with love.
