On the morning of December 6, Premier School Affiliated to Hou Kong Middle School held its Open Day. The school welcomed friends of all ages and parents to explore the campus and experience its educational charm through tours, a parent seminar, talent shows, and hands-on activities.
That day, Dr. Zhang Jun from Beijing Normal University led a seminar for parents titled “From Digital Natives to Wise Guides.” He discussed how to manage screen time to improve parent-child communication and strengthen their relationships. The seminar was very popular and filled every seat. Next, students showcased their talents in vibrant performances and a piano concert held in the Hall D and Hall A. Their confidence and skills earned lots of applause, highlighting the excellence of HKP students.
During the fun curriculum experiences, technology and games were cleverly combined. Activities included programming, robot dog interactions, and AI language challenges. Other sections like traditional paper cutting, math games, and language contests provided knowledge and enjoyment. Children eagerly participated and wore bright smiles. Many were excited to exchange stamps for prizes, creating an energetic atmosphere.
Teachers and students warmly greeted visitors, making the event lively. Teachers answered parents’ questions with care, and student volunteers showed enthusiasm and energy, reflecting the positive character of HKP School. Parents shared their appreciation for the diverse activities, noting that their children gained both happiness and knowledge while learning about the school’s strong educational results.
This Open Day not only showcased the school's unique features and curriculum advantages but also built connections between the school, families, and the community. Every detail, from the organized activities to the caring staff, highlighted the school’s commitment to education and its concern for students. In the future, our school will keep focusing on students' needs, enrich educational content, and work with parents to support children's joyful growth and overall development.
