Kindergarten Joyfully Welcome the Year of the Horse

On March 2, HKP Kindergarten organized a lively New Year celebration to mark the reopening after the holiday. K1 to K3 children dressed in traditional costumes and, through games and activities, experienced the richness of Chinese traditions while joyfully welcoming the Year of the Horse.

To carry on the festive spirit, each grade organized its own celebration. K1 children enjoyed fun classroom games and created handicrafts themed around the Year of the Horse. K2 students joined the “Visiting Classrooms” activity, wearing colorful traditional outfits and moving between classes to play booth games such as “Lucky Toss” and “Sending Blessings.” K3 students gathered in the small auditorium for a celebration featuring lion dancing, couplet games, and the “Passing the Fortune Bag” relay, deepening their understanding of traditional customs through play.

The event was filled with excitement and laughter. Children not only experienced the joy of the New Year but also deepened their understanding of Spring Festival traditions, as they embraced the new semester in a cheerful and festive atmosphere.
