K3 Children Make Delicious Vegetable Soup

Through the health education themed activities in K3, the children learn about the food pyramid and understand that good health requires a combination of diet, exercise, and sleep habits. A vegetable soup cooking activity was specially organized to help them explore the health benefits hidden in vegetables.

Before the soup activity, the teachers and children discussed the materials they needed to bring that day. Everyone excitedly suggested bringing all sorts of vegetables, including carrots, corn, tomatoes, and potatoes. The children couldn't wait for the day the soup was cooked. On the days when each class took turns cooking the vegetable soup, the corridor was always filled with a delicious aroma, making passersby stop and take a look.

Through hands-on experiences of looking, smelling, making, and tasting, young children gradually develop a love for vegetables and understand that vegetables are good friends that help us grow healthily. With the cooperation of parents, who personally take their children to buy vegetables, and under the guidance of teachers, children gain a comprehensive understanding of vegetables from daily life and activities, recognizing their names and benefits to us. Finally, everyone enjoyed the vegetable soup they had cooked themselves, learning cooperation and sharing, and experiencing the joy of success – it was so delicious!
